At the Eighth session of the GLOSS Group of Experts (October 2003), it was suggested that a GLOSS Technical Advisory Group be created.
This group would advise on the operation of existing stations to ensure they were up to the standard required by GLOSS, and could help with the establishment of new stations to be incorporated into the GLOSS Core Network.
At the Ninth session of the GLOSS Group of Experts (February 2005), action items were created for the new Technical Sub-Group (TSG as it is now known) to provide technical advice as needed.
This forum will be a way for tide gauge operators to get in contact with this group to seek their advice. Frequently asked questions will be posted as they arise.
